Buy Cockatiels in Sector 17 Plaza, Chandigarh

We place the Cockatiels across Sector 17 Plaza and the surrounding Chandigarh region. Each bird is health-checked before listing, and you are welcome to ask about lineage and age before committing to anything.

Health documentation

Each Cockatiels is health-checked before it is listed, and leaves with its vaccination and deworming record. Read it at handover rather than later - the booster schedule for the coming year runs from those dates.

Winter and summer, both real

continental plains. Unlike much of the country, Sector 17 Plaza gets a genuine winter, and a small to medium bird feels the January nights. the climate swings from hot summers to cool winters, so care changes with the season A Cockatiels needs bedding off the floor in the cold months and shade and water through the hot ones - two different problems in one year.

The Cockatiels in a planned city

Sector 17 Plaza is unusually kind to a small to medium bird. Sectors are walkable, green space is designed in rather than left over, and most homes have ground-floor access. A Cockatiels raised here gets more outdoor time than the same breed would in a denser city, and it shows in temperament.

Exercise and the green belt

A Cockatiels does well on two walks a day here, and the green belt makes that pleasant rather than a chore. Resist the temptation to over-exercise a young bird because the space is available - growing joints set the limit, not the distance you can manage.

Grooming and seasonal coat care

Check ears and paws after walks through the green belt - grass seeds and ticks are the two common finds, and both are trivial caught early. For a small to medium bird this takes a couple of minutes and prevents most of what we get asked about.

Price and what sits behind it

₹2,500 to ₹12,000. A documented bird from a known litter sits at the upper end and is generally the better purchase — the difference is usually recovered in the first year's veterinary costs.

Records and aftercare

Expect original records, dated and signed by the attending vet. For a small to medium bird we also note the expected adult size, since a size category alone tells you little about the Cockatiels in front of you.
