Buy Afghan Hound Puppy in Ghumarwin Tehsil, Himachal Pradesh

Availability here is steady rather than high-volume. A aloof large breed is a considered purchase, and we would rather answer questions properly than hurry a placement.

Price and what sits behind it

A Afghan Hound Puppy starts from ₹78,000 here. The figure reflects lineage, age at handover and the health work already completed. We are happy to explain any of those rather than simply quote a number.

Grooming and seasonal coat care

Check ears and paws after walks through the green belt - grass seeds and ticks are the two common finds, and both are trivial caught early. For a large dog this takes a couple of minutes and prevents most of what we get asked about.

Health documentation

You should expect to see original records, dated and signed by the attending vet. For a large dog we also note the expected adult size, since a size category on its own tells you very little about the Afghan Hound Puppy in front of you.

Exercise and the green belt

A Afghan Hound Puppy does well on two walks a day here, and the green belt makes that pleasant rather than a chore. Resist the temptation to over-exercise a young dog because the space is available - growing joints set the limit, not the distance you can manage.

Winter and summer, both real

cold mountain. Unlike much of the country, Ghumarwin Tehsil gets a genuine winter, and a large dog feels the January nights. the cooler climate suits thick-coated breeds but needs winter planning for others A Afghan Hound Puppy needs bedding off the floor in the cold months and shade and water through the hot ones - two different problems in one year.

Price and what sits behind it

₹78,000 to ₹135,500. A documented dog from a known litter sits at the upper end and is generally the better purchase — the difference is usually recovered in the first year's veterinary costs.

Records and aftercare
